Acoustic Ceiling Tiles and Wall Panels
When information is being communicated to an audience it is very important that the speaker can be heard clearly.*
3 Dimensions worked with the Department of Engineering to specify 
the ceilings and wall linings required to enhance the acoustic performance of Lecture Theatre 4.
Ecophon Master Alpha suspended ceiling tiles were installed wall-to-wall throughout the 100m2 room together with a Master Gamma sound reflector area.
Master Extra Base overlay was installed above the new ceiling to improve sound absorption in the low frequency range.
In addition Ecophon edge C sound absorbing panels were installed on two walls to reduce flutter echo. Other works completed on this project included: building works, carpentry, electrical, decoration, and scaffolding.
