3 Dimensions is completing various works for R G Carter (Cambridge) on Phase 1B Refurbishment Works at Bell Education Trust, Red Cross Lane, Cambridge.
Services provided consisted of erection of Metsec SFS Continuous External Walling to form the perimeter walls to the dining room and reception areas and Metsec SFS Load Bearing Structures to the Link Block.
The Metsec framework has been clad externally with plywood, Celotex FR4000 Insulation boards, Tyvek Housewrap breather paper and finished with, Nu-Flame impregnated, Western Red Cedar cladding . A feature infill has been created using 8 number Trespa Meteon panels fixed to Eurofox Rainscreen support system.
Internal finishes include erection of a Duvale PLC Top Hung Acoustic Operable Wall providing Rw50dB sound attenuation to separate the dining room from the lecture room; Armstrong Dune and Ultima suspended ceilings installed to the dining room and lecture room respectively. The Metsec perimeter walls were clad internally with British Gypsum Duplex plasterboard with tape & joint finish applied. MF suspended ceilings are being installed to the Reception & link block.
